WWE Launches Social Networking Site
Are social networking sites like myspace, facebook, bebo, orkut, and friendster just not wrestling enough for you? Us neither.
Lucky for us the wwe launched its own social networking about three weeks ago at http://fans.wwe.com/. The sites still in an early beta stage but it already has over 23,000 members, 1,800 groups, and 13,000 blog posts. The design is still a little clunky and frustrating but we’re sure most problems will be worked out soon enough. The site is still only three weeks old.
Now you must be wondering: who is a member? Anyone who likes wrestling, that’s who. Yes, that means jabandgrabble.com. You can find us at http://fans.wwe.com/jabandgrapple.com. That’s our site above.
Please please please be our friend. Right now we’re very lonely. Only ring announcer Howard Finkel and Joey Styles, the voice of the ECW, are currently on our team.
When you sign up for an account you can choose from a few profile designs, upload pictures, engage in some smack talk, write blog posts, and most importantly interact with other wrestling fans. Who knows, as the site grows up maybe even our pro wrestling heroes will have profiles.
Right now we’re off to join the Who’s Feeling Randy (Orton)??? and the Respect the Person Behind the Character groups.
In the meantime show jabandgrabble.com some love and make us your friend. Please!
