Also on Raw last night Big Show and “Money” Mayweather hit the scales. Floyd was accompanied by his usual entourage and all went as expected until Show called out the majority of the Raw roster to the ring and a major scuffle ensued with Mayweather getting “hurt” after Show picked him up and tossed him over the top rope. The highlight actually hit number 9 on SportsCenter last night believe it or not.
Raw was far above my expectations based on the recent episodes and I have to say I was really impressed, especially the integration of past Wrestlemania matches into currently storylines. The flow was very much present and it was a really good show. Perhaps I am expecting too much from this year’s celebrity angle after last years Trump one but this week was definitely better than last week’s squash and call.
I thought the Jericho title win was the only major surprise match result of the show (that was until I learned Hardy was suspended) though the match announcement by Triple H of Cena & Orton tagging against the Raw roster was also pretty surprising.
