Mundine Retains Super Middleweight Title
“Anthony Mundine knocked out Jose Alberto Clavero of Argentina in the fourth round Monday to retain his World Boxing Association super middleweight title. Mundine, 166 pounds, was making the first defense of his title since overcoming an eye infection and had not fought for almost six months. Pavlik To Fight in February, June
Kelly Pavlik will take on Jermaine Taylor in February in a non-title rematch and hopes to face John Duddy in June.
Edison Miranda will take on Donny McCrary and Jean Pascal will face David Banks in January on a “Friday Night Fights” ESPN card. Miranda will likely face Pascal on June 7th in Montreal.
Linares, Valeros Retain Titles

The PPV figures for the Mayweather-Hatton bout are in and they’re below expectations. The card drew 850,000 buys which was well below an anticipated 1-1.5 million buys.
