Mr. Kennedy Injured, Loses “Money in the Bank” Opportunity
Just before Raw went on the air Monday night from Penn State rumors were posted that Mr. Kennedy was injured and that it was pretty significant. A later report from WrestleView.com states that he had injured his tricep during a house show. Here’s the report they received:
“Hey guys, just thought I’d pass this along. Mr. Kennedy worked the Binghamton house show with a serious tricep injury. I was at the hotel where they were staying and was lucky enough to see him before the show and he told me he thought he tore his tricep the night before in Poughkeepsie. He could hardly sign the photo I had for him because of it. He did work the Binghamton show but was clearly not himself.”
The injury was unofficially confirmed just hours later as Kennedy dropped the Money in the Bank opportunity to Edge rather quickly. Kennedy is the second big name SmackDown! star to be injured recently. Undertaker also suffered an arm injury to his bicep and will likely be dropping his title tomorrow is Pittsburgh as a result.
