Couture Back In UFC, Set To Take on Sylvia
Well the rumors have been swirling on the net that UFC favority Randy Couture was coming back to the octagon to fight at 43 years of age. I held off until it went “offical” last night when the announcement was made on Inside the UFC but the time has come, Couture is officially back.
To put this into perspective this announcement is just huge. Couture is a huge draw for UFC and to throw him into a title bout against Tim Sylvia at UFC 68 is just going to amazing. If you missed the interview you can watch it on SpikeTV’s website.
The deal is a four fight/two year deal that came as a surprise to any fan. Couture retired this past February and will have been retired just over a year when he goes for the title on March 3rd in Columbus, Ohio at UFC 68.
