Jab and Grapple - Boxing and Wrestling News and Analysis

Batista, Evander Holyfield, and The Rock

by Ron on September 12th, 2006

Batista is officially in Manila. He was kinda accepted as a long lost son of the Philippines with the numerous TV appearances, photographs, and sightings of the Fil-Greek wrestler. Now everyone can’t wait for the SmackDown Tour to officially begin so we can watch him live in action.

Who wants to be first to be hit by the Batista bomb? See of hands?

Evander Holyfield is 44. He is going to fight again in November. Who’s excited?

I’m not.

I want to start a review of previous and present wrestlers who are now trying to dip their hands in acting. One example? The Rock.

He’s probably the most famous wrestler who’s now an actor/celebrity.

But I’ll always know him for… what’d you say? IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU SAID (Rock voice)

Kane also was in the movies recently. See No Evil. Check it out.
