Steve “Crocodile Hunter” Irwin wrestles Stingray
I was really surprised how famous Steve “The Crocodile Hunter” Irwin is. I didn’t know that he died. I was buried under a pile of paper work when suddenly one of my officemates asked me that if I knew that the funny croc man died.
Funny croc man? I started to scratch my head. Who the heck is he? He then said, “You know him. He is on TV all the time. He was even in the movies.” Forgive him. He didn’t know his name and I actually don’t his name too.
He just goes by the name “Crocodile Hunter” or the guy from Animal Planet. So why are we talking about this? Any guy who wrestles crocs as a living is a hero in my book and deserves some mention.
Reading through some of the news reports showed that there is a side to this guy that most of us didn’t know. He was an extremely dedicated environmentalist and spends every dime he made into his zoo in Australia.
Some of us joked around that he should’ve stayed on land instead of trying out his luck underwater. If you haven’t seen him wrestle crocs then you should look it up. Oh and if you didn’t know, (are you living under a rock?) he died when a stingray barb punctured his chest while snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef.
You will be missed. We need more guys like you Steve.
