Roach vs Morales
The current trash talking going on between Freddie Roach and Erik Morales is nothing new in the world of boxing, or sports to say the least. It is the same with Marco Materazzi saying something nasty to Zidane or Lebron crossing the free throw line to say something to Gilbert Arenas as he was about to make his free throws.
In short, it’s all the same. Except for one thing…
Freddie Roach is a trainer/retired boxer while Erik Morales is still a pro boxer. It’s like the Karate Kid movie where your bitter rival bash your sensei Mr. Miyagi. It just ain’t right.
Now Roach took some pot shots at Morales and Morales fired back. Roach called Morales a loud-mouth nasty guy who has no respect for Manny Pacquiao and the Filipino People. This is what Morales had to say to Roach, “It is sad sometime to see former fighters who are now trainers wanting to take center stage in a big fight, because they were never good enough to be in a big fight. Now they just want to grab the spotlight as trainers at the expense for their fighters.”
Now only if Roach can beat Morales inside the ring. That would be a helluva match. Just like Mr. Miyagi beating up the crap out of the kid who challenges him.
