Batista is Back
Now it’s confirmed.
Batista is back. The Animal was unleashed on SmackDown and the first thing he did was called out Mark Henry who caused him to miss months of wrestling because of an injury.
What did he do Mark Henry?
Oh, not much. He just hit the World’s Strongest Man a few times with a steel chair and busted him open using the steel steps leaving Mark Henry a bloody mess.
Another thing is confirmed.
Batista is part Filipino. Although there are a lot of people telling me that he is part Filipino, I didn’t believe it at first. After all, there are a lot of rumors and story lines made when it comes to WWE. All the proof I need was in his new tattoo which my friend told me he got recently before he made his return to WWE.
In his arm, you can see a tattoo of the Philippine flag which shows that he is proud to be a Filipino. 
Apparently his real name is David Bautista which is really a Filipino-sounding name. He just dropped the “u” in “Bautista” to make his ring name - “Batista”
See? It just shows how tough Filipinos are. First we have Manny Pacquiao then Batista.

Nice tattoo eh! Kind of reminds me of Brandon Vera of the UFC. He’s got cool baybayin (Ancient Filipino scripts) tattoos on his back too as a testament to his Filipino roots.
Anyhow, I haven’t been watching wrestling for a long time now but with interesting personalities coming back and new ones joining…hmmm…might as well surf and linger on that cable channel again….

i was at the tattoo parlor in florida when he got it.. im greek and he showed me it.. its a greek flag merged with a flag of the Philippines… what a baller this guy is.. p.s. he def looks greek.. i had my suspicions all along but his tattoo confirms it

Batista’s father is Filipino while his mother is Greek. He had tore that right triceps in his earlier days with Evolution.
That’s not John Cena. Cena and Batista are good friends way back before they joined WWE. They had only one match in OVW which Cena won and they never fought again until they met in the Royal Rumble Batista throwing Cena out.

I knew he was PINOY cus he from the DMV(washington DC) and a guy I used to know knew him when they were bouncers at Planet Hollywood and he is the one who told him “why dont you be a wrestler”.They still friends I think.
