Pacquiao Sluggish

by Ron on June 22nd, 2006

I hate to say this but I told you so.

It was a good thing Pacquiao decided to train in the States and is on the last stages of his training otherwise he wouldn’t be ready for the fight. This was obvious during his first sparring session in the country in which Roach found it so-so.

Roach blamed it all on the “distractions” like the opening of his new movie about his life and the open door atmosphere in the gym.

As usual, there were media personnel, onlookers, and visitors on hand to see Pacquiao train. Roach hopes to clear the gym in a couple of days which I think is a very wise decision.

“From now on, no more movies, no more appearances and hopefully no more distractions,” said Roach.

We’ll see Roach. You have to remember one thing - you guys are in the Philippines.

Here anything can happen.

Admit it Ron…you are a Pac nuthugger too…hahaha. Oh well, I can’t blame you…A good part of the boxing world and even just casual boxing fans are mesmerized by this 130-pounder Filipino. =)

Admit it Ron, you’re a Pac nuthugger too…haha. I can’t blame you though. This 130-pounder Filipino sure is lifting boxing on his back. With the lack of luster in the heavier weight classes Pac truly mesmerizes not only a nation but the whole boxing world as well and even casual boxing fans at that.

I wish that as soon as he gets past Larios fights against Morales, Barrera, Barrios, Popo Freitas or even Pretty Boy Floyd can materialize. These fights are every fan’s dream…hehe. Until then, we can just keep on wishing….=)
