Father-Son Wrestling Duos
In the spirit of celebrating Father’s Day, here are the famous father and son duos in wrestling.
Cowboy Bob and Randy Orton. You’ve seen both of them recently in Raw or Smackdown. Bob has always been there for his son. Even when Randy tried going up against the big name opponents like The Game HHH and The Undertaker. He would support his son and even give him a heads up in some matches by… how do you say this? Interfering?
What can you say? He loves his son.
Dusty and Dustin Rhodes. I’m actually not familiar with these guys. But they were huge in their days. Other that that, I don’t know what else to add. Sorry.
Chavo and Chavo Guerrero. The Guerreros have been a staple in wrestling from Classic Chave to Chavo and to Eddie. Their family has been in the wrestling business for ages! So it’s not surprising to see not only this father and son duo in wrestling but the whole family.
The family that wrestles together, stays together.
Stu and Bret Hart. Here’s another family that also made a huge impact on wrestling. From Stu to Bret to Owen, the Harts like the Guerreros have a special place in the hearts of wrestling fans.
I like to repeat… The family that wrestles together stays together.
Lastly is the royal family of wrestling. Vince and Shane Mcmahon. I won’t enumerate the number of times they’ve been body slammed or hit together by some wrestler inside the right. The list goes on from Shawn Michaels to Stone Cold Steve Austin. There goes some fatherly love for you.
I want to revise it a little. The family that gets hit together stays together.
Happy Fathers Day everyone!

You forgot the following:
Dory Funk Sr./Terry & Dory Funk Jr
Ric/David Flair
Bruno/David Sammmartino
Fritz/Kerry, Kevin, David, Mike, Chris Von Erich
Grizzly Smith/Jake Roberts & Sam Houston
Verne/Greg Gagne
Angelo Poffo/Randy Savage, Leapin’ Lanny Poffo
Paul “Butcher” Vachon/Luna Vachon
And last but not least:
Duane “the Rock” Johnson comes from a really big family–there’s a lot of people in it, too. His wrestling cousins alone include the heavyweight likes of the late Yokozuna, Rikishi, Samu, David Tua, and the Tonga Kid, to name a few. A third-generation wrestler, the Rock is the son of Rocky Johnson and grandson of High Chief Peter Maivia, who is the brother of Wild Samoans, Afa and Sika. Their cousin is Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and their uncle is the devious Mr. Fuji. Combined, this prolific extended wrestling family has racked up as many titles as it has calories.
