Saturday Night Special again
If you are a wrestling fan like I am you should remember WWE’s “Saturday Night Main Event”. At the time it was WWF and some of the big stars that made Saturday Nights Main Event were Hulk Hogan, Randy “Macho Man” Savage, King Kong Bundy, The Undetaker and Sid Justice just to name a few. Well starting March 18th on NBC (which is where it all started) it will air once again. This to me will be so nostalgic because I will travel back in time to my teenage years to remember how many times I actually turned down going to parties and hanging out just to see Saturday Nights Main Event.
This was a tradition growing up and my grandmother & I literally stopped everything just to sit and watch it. I hope that today’s Superstars can bring the electricity that made this show successful. I am sure they will but it was that something special about a Saturday Night wrestling show that made it timeless.
